I have had these checks forever! I loved the artwork. Imagine my surprise when I found out the artist who did my Ashley Stockingdale book covers was none other than the artist who created my checks and mailing labels. I absolutely adore her artwork, and those covers with Ashley in front of the shop and with her dog and in the wedding dress, well, they're still my very favorite. So I wanted to put a shout-out for artist Anne Keenan Higgins and let you know she has new check designs now available at checks in the mail. CITM.com
It's a way to support the arts and look totally cute while doing so.
Here's her new ones. Oh my gosh, so cute. I want her to design my life.
I wish I wrote checks more often and needed new ones.

If my DH and I did not share checks I would totally get these. He would die to be made to use these. Though as it is we have ones with cute polar animals. He is 6'4 and has little penguins and bears on his checks :) just so cute! These are adorable. I too love the orignal art work on your Ashley Stockindale books! That is what orignally got me reading you! I totally judged a book by it's cover and I am blessed because I did!

My husband would fall off a rock cliff (maybe on purpose) if i made him use checks like these. I might have to order 2 sets - one manly set of something with a caribiner on it and a girlie set just for me! :) (who's trying to be more girlie ... how do you be girlie?) :)

How funny is it that I have used both of those checks!! They were my last two designs. I love them both!

SO ASHLEY! These would lure me away from my debit card, which is so NOT cute.

Oh, wow I need to get these checks.
That was the first of your books that I bought. I only purchased it for the cover, because I wanted to look up the artist to see her other work. I had the book a while before I read it, but I'm so glad I did. Now I'm addicted to all your books and blog.

Hubby and I don't share a check book (obviously!) He says checks are for business and should look like a banking product. Yeah, whatever, dude. He doesn't balance his checkbook, which drives me nuts, so for marital bliss, we keep our own.
I don't know how you become more girlie, but if you find out, let me know because I need to work on my daughter -- who is as testosterone-driven as they come. Of course, with three older brothers, I guess that's part of the package.

Well, I bought a pink shirt and it's hanging unused in my closet. So that didn't work on the "girlie" thing. :) I'll let you know if I find something that works, but don't hold your breath! :) lol

Jaime, I found what worked for Elle today. I took her to DSW, and she has her mama's big feet and she was trying all the four inch heels on. LOL I love it, she doesn't have to be practical yet. And no, we didn't buy anything. LOL But she found her inner girl.

Four INCH heels? Your girl is my HERO! I'd break an ankle just looking at them. I just realized I'm dressed entirely in brown. *sigh* I put mascara on this morning, does that count? :)
Tell Elle WAY TO GO! :) ... I wonder if they make jelly-shoes with 4" heels, wouldn't THAT be cool? LOL

Go to Sephora and get someone to do your makeup. That will bring out the girlie in you. LOL

Everyday Minerals has GREAT makeup to try, even if you have never tried or don't like mineral makeup, it's been touted often as way better than the other common mineral products. Also, you can get a sample kit with 5 products for $3.28 (shipping).
I love heels :) The women in the choir at church crane their necks every week to see what shoes I'm wearing.

Man... if we could get cute cheques like that in Canada, I'd be ordering myself some! VERY Cute!
