Do they deserve to be shot? Are they asking for trouble? Or is it okay because they're white, so no one would dare shoot them?
They also walk to the neighborhood store in said hoodies to buy candy and game cards. Again, this makes them targets?
I find this ridiculous assessment of "gang" wear ridiculous and offensive. Trayvon Martin deserves justice. If he was wearing GANG colors, he deserves justice and it was dark, so I fail to see how George could make such an assessment without a preconceived notion. No one gets to shoot someone and claim self-defense without questioning and a trial. So why does George Zimmerman get this privilege?
I feel better knowing that Geraldo's own son tweeted his disagreement to his dad's statement. There's a comedian who says that's why God created teenagers, so we could see what it's like to have someone created in our own image who denies our very existence.

yes, Geraldo opening his mouth and firmly placing his foot in it. That alone would make half my youth group kids guilty.

All four of my boys wear hoodies...a couple of them with the hoods up half the time. I nearly fell out of my chair when he said that. I knew he was in for it the rest of the day. Typical Geraldo! My boys are very good, well behaved kids. According to him though, their whole school (boys and girls) are in trouble!

Here in Florida kids had massive protests and everyone's walking around with skittles and sodas. They flashed George's face on the news during the news report and that doesn't bode well for him b/c everyone (especially teenagers) are up in arms about this.
Why wasn't he brought to court on this?

That is a gross generalisation.

I want to know why George Zimmerman gets this special treatment with the record he has--the one police told Trayvon's parents was squeaky clean despite it being nasty nasty! That poor boy had such a bright future ahead of him--if America has anything to say about it, he WILL get justice. Hopefully sooner rather than later.

So when I wear my Miami U hoodies, I'm trying to be gansta? Not like it's one of the preppiest, whitest schools in the country.
