Did anyone watch Eddie's proposal? Seriously, one of the most romantic I've ever seen. It didn't hurt that he took his beloved to Bora Bora, but to get her to come out of her comfort zone and scuba dive, then use that as a springboard to surprise her...well, he's just novel material, what can I say? I think it helped that they edited in footage of her ex Simon's passive-aggressive abuse for viewers to want Tamra to recover. No one deserves what Simon put her through.
Then, there's Vicki who is buying her new man some teeth. How romantic. "Babe, I love ya, but you look redneck, here's some $15,000 teeth so you can look like everyone else in LA." Can I just say I'm not a fan of how everyone has the same teeth anymore? It takes away character. I mean, sure, don't look all English teeth or anything, but everyone gets braces now. And yes, I put my own kids in braces, so I'm a hypocrite. But seriously, you can dress him up...
Back to Vicki. What kind of man lets a woman BUY him new teeth? I mean, who sits in the chair and says, YES! Buy me some chompers. That's sexy! ???
Onto Gretchen, who rips Slade a new one for wanting to propose. She seriously takes him down as good as Simon ever gave Tamra. I mean, yeah, he's a loser, but how loving is it to tell him how MUCH of a loser and that you want a baby, but not by his poor self? Cold. True, but cold. If you don't respect the man, you should move on, not berate him. Bad form.
Finally, the new chick whose name I can't remember is throwing herself a party because she's taking her husband's name after fifteen years and four kids. Hey, how do I make this ALL about me? Oh yeah, when you name a baby you give a party...okay, they also get a circumcision too. But she just wants a fancy cake and a party. She talks about how sophisticated it will be, and I think to myself, Do you KNOW what show you're on?
Jesus Barbie. I feel for her because she really did agree to stay home with the kids, but when hubby wasn't cutting it and life wasn't working for her, she wanted to make a change and hubby didn't agree to that. Life changes. That's what makes marriage hard. Don't marry anyone who wants to hold you back.
That's my two cents. What did you think?
