I think we should all take up a collection and buy Sean a shirt. He clearly is missing one for a good part of the intros. We watch him get his heart broken (ie., dodge a bullet) again with Emily. We hear about him nursing his broken heart and get to see him with his niece and nephew (cute) and lament his parent’s marriage (sweet) so he can explain his reasons for being “The Bachelor” again.
He’s hopeful. As are we, Sean, as are we.
Arie’s giving him kissing lessons. Can I just say that Arie should probably give the men of America kissing lessons? Probably not, but I will anyway. The result may be toolish on every level, but the man knows his moves. Arie shows him the way of the force.
Chris Harrison speaks…I’m over him.
On the intros, I’m partial to Robyn because she’s quirky and has a thing for Sticky Notes. How can you go wrong with a girl who has a thing for Sticky Notes, I ask you? Um, she sort of blows it with the gymnastics move. Boo, cuz I love her. Let’s hope he finds that cute.
Ashley P is the crazy one into “50 Shades of Deranged” and she says it’s just her and her cat to which my daughter said, “You’re going to be getting more cats.” I would agree with that 12-year old assessment.
Meeting the women, Sean looks terrified.
Ashlee P’s story is heart-wrenching, but she seems so genuine. I feel like the pick of girls is of a higher caliber this time. Sure, there’s the crazy Ashley and I think he seems more into the brunettes. He seems really into Catherine from Seattle and Tierra, who he gives a rose to. That’s not going to cause any tension.
50 Shades girl is nuts. Living out a fantasy in her head, and may I just say, girlfriend, you might want to tone it down a bit. Maybe read some Jane Austen or heck, Danielle Steele, but if you’re looking for Prince Charming, you may want to step away from the S&M books.
I really love that Sean gave Sarah a rose when she told him she was born with only one arm. He just really seems like he has such a pure heart. He’s no Jake Pavelka and that makes me want love for him. I think he came off so badly to me falling for Emily because there was just nothing to her other than looks. But he dodged a bullet and I think this time, he’s really going to make it count. I feel hopeful.
The way Sean handed out the roses all along felt kind of cruel at the end, like all the ugly stepsisters were waiting around in a separate pile from the Cinderellas. Not nice!
Let the drama begin...who's your favorite? I've got a girl crush on Robyn. It's the post-its.
