I got interviewed the other day about my new book, "Swimming to the Surface." I loved this question. She said that although the book was serious, I had a lot of one-liners like in my chick lit. Did I have to sit and think of one-liners?
Oh my, do you know how great it would be if I had to THINK of one-liners? Do you know how many more church events I may have been invited to if one-liners did not roll off my tongue so easily? I personally think my life would have been completely different if I hadn't come equipped with one-liners.
I thought the question was really sweet. It gave me a sense of innocence that I probably should have copped to...it reminds me there really are people out there who don't think like that. And how refreshing.
